Programs & Services
Our expectation is that every successful resident and tenant will:
- Maintain stable housing
- Maintain mental health supports (medication and/or therapy) as prescribed
be employed or engaged in an activity that will lead to employment
- Make progress on personal development plans that lead to increased self reliance
regain and/or strengthen family relationships
- Maintain and manage chemical health
There are no shortcuts; rather Cabrini Partnership expects hard work and commitment from each resident and tenant. In return, we are faithful, supportive partners and mentors along their journey to recovery, stability and independence. Accountability, compassion, connection, courage, dignity, faith and respect represent our core values.
In 2011, our transitional housing residents and permanent supportive housing tenants achieved the following:
- 86 percent of clients maintained stable housing
- 87 percent of clients maintained stable mental health
- 94 percent of clients abstained or reduced chemical abuse
- 16 percent of clients obtained a job*
- 44 percent of clients attended post-secondary classes
- 50 percent of clients volunteered
We offer specific programs and general support. All help in recovery and moving forward.

*Unfortunately due to the nature of Minnesota’s Group Residential Housing (GRH) program, annual income is limited to $12,000, restricting many of our resident’s opportunities for employment. Cabrini Partnership is working with legislative leaders to change the GRH policy so that residents who are able to work can pay 30 percent of their income for rent and meet basic necessities.
